Right you are, it looks like the Sphinx! Looking at it now, you can hardly expect to find any timber there.

the climate of this region is very curious, most of the areas are dry and covered with lower plants, anyway at the end of this bay there was a valley between two high mountains and the humidity are concentrated there, in the past there was a small forest in the valley.
probably this mountain I posted never have had a forest how you mentioned because it was out of the humid zone, located few km ahead.
