Great holmertz 2019-09-23 0:47

Hello Paul,
Apart from certain obvious differences this looks like the office of any ordinary university society in western Europe in the late 60's or 70's. Portraits of Marx and Castro and the usual romantic paintings of Che. And some regular graffiti. I knew basically all the facts of the (exemplarily informative and well written) note, but I don't know in any details how the left wing governments of Kerala have done the job. But obviously they haven't totally messed up the economy or society like those in eastern Europe or the Soviet Union, so they must have been very pragmatic, not too ideologically burdened when it comes to day to day politics, and probably less corrupt than those ruling other states.
Besides, this is a wonderfully bright photo with lots of fine details. You probably saw I sent it to my favourites. Nice paintings in the WS too.

Default To holmertz: Governments in Kerala

Thank you Gert,

As far as I understood, the Communist Party has never been alone in the government of Kerala.
They always ruled together with other parties.

Best regards,
