Photographer’s Note
As a first picture from Algeria, I posted a city by night. Now it's time to present Algiers by day. It's hard to take a good picture - the capital is so poluted by cars, that the builidings are being covered by the smog.
I took this photo just after the rain, the visibility is not perfect but much better than usually. I've heard that during summertime - the city is completely invisible.
BTW, the title of my post refers to the name of the city - which means "white" in Arabic language ("blanche" in French).

Hello, We can see in this photo eastern districts of algiers and the southern Mitidja plain in the bottom. Really i experienced the same phenomena of visibility, After the rain I felt the pleasure to see clearly the Algiers bay, including the old city (Kasbah) from the east Highway (which apears in your photo)
