Photographer’s Note
The building of Basilica of Our Lady of Africa (Notre Dame d'Afrique) is rahter known, it's easy to find it, searching for some pictures from Algiers. Nevertheless I have never met photos of the interior - which is quite suprising.
In the picture you can see the inscription in French: Notre Dame d'Afrique priez pour nous et pour les Musulmans ("Our lady of Africa, pray for us and for the Muslims").
By the way, seeing this Basilique on photos I thought that it's much larger - in fact the basilique is rahter small.
