et voilà, en répondant à la suggestion de l'un de vous, j'ai allégé le cadre, mais laissé le reste, l'idée d'Emilius était aussi possible... mais j'aime bien la crête au premier plan,

ce lieux est dans la zone de Tagrera, près de Tamanrasset un des plus beaux que j'ai parcouru en algérie avec la Tadrar et ses dunes rouges

Breathtaking POV, color and composition. The lone figure in the center seems the most absolutely loneliest person on earth. In a black/white photo, this almost might pass as a snow scene, given the fine and smooth texture of the sand dune / snow drift!

interesting composition with nice and clear colors.
good DOF with well compose of sand dune and rocks.
good idea to add that man to show scale.
i like nice form of foreground .look like it point to that man to be point of interest :)

Hello Danielle,

The curve over the sand dune, how wonderful, but also how good to put a human element inside the framing so it gives us scaling and gives us the idea that the person is lost in this maze of sand and stones. A very interesting and photogenic location and it sure looks impressive.
Seems a very inviting place to visit...well done, i like this one a lot.

J'aime bien l'ambiance que tu as captée ici. La compo est sympa avec ces dunes et ces rochers de tailles diverses.Le personnage est un plus et donne une idée de l'échelle.
C'est vrai que cette crête est sympa...ceci dit je trouve quand même qu'elle prend beaucoup de place sur la photo...j'aurais essayé de minimiser son importance...mais bon, voilà, question de goût. J'aime beaucoup en tout cas.

la crête de sable mène le regard vers la personne juste située entre les roches rouges, les ombres douces donnent la troisième dimension.

J'aime particulièrement le premier plan avec cette dune en forme de flèche qui montre le seul personnage de la photo! les couleur sont rares...

Hi Danielle,
I love deserts. This composition is incredibly interesting. Cutting away the sky creates very special colors and consequently atmosphere.
The rock formations are very pretty and make a nice contrast to sand dunes. The person in a distance is great as a scale marker.
I like it very much

Bonjour Danielle,

Effectivement la crête du l'avant plan équilibre bien l'image. Une photo étonnante qui semble avoir été prise sur une autre planète. J'aime beaucoup la lumière située où est le personnage sur l'image, qui donne un bon relief et une atmosphère originale. Une belle et agréalbe photo, merci Danielle.

Great POV and the rocks jotting out of the sand are beautiful, what a nice picture. You should check out Wadi Rum in Jordan for nice rock formation and dunes.
