Picture taken in the Sahara, in the Tadrart region (Algeria).

Desert offers its visitors lots of beautiful and diverse landscapes. Very often, it surprises you by its diversity and its "wild" beauty.

Sometimes, you are just impressed by its "simple" beauty, like I was when I stopped to this place.

good layering of textures
sand rock and sky
silky hard and soft/fluffy

a polariser would have zapped that sky..i dont have one either

You gave the perfect title to your shot!!! It's very simple as you said but such beautiful that I could look for hours on the dunes which are crossing softly the wild landscape!!!

Belle image, je ressens une lumière douce dans cette image alors que nous sommes dans le désert! Belle composition avec ces différentes couleurs. beau travail

Something about this shot really catches my eye. I like the layers used (foreground dark sand, then light sand, then dark rock face, then light rock face). The progression from dark to light gives this shot great depth. You managed to keep the composition simple, interesting, and dramatic, drawing the eye to the left through all elements of this shot.

Peut être un peu trop de ciel, mais le 1er plan est génial : ce sable pur, ces roches, le mélange des deux... C'est superbe.
