Photographer's Note
This is from a village near Banfora in southwestern Burkina Faso. I was there with people from an NGO to study some development project and took the time to walk around when I met this girl carrying her baby brother or sister. She didn't mind posing for a photo. Probably the event of the day for both of us.

Hej Gert,
A very fine and documentary picture of both the girls and the houses (huts?). Did you look inside one of these houses? How were they furnished?
The colours are fine and as usual, a very good scan. What is NGO?
