- The Tiebele Royal concession -
 |
|
| [Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe |
One of the extraordinary discovery of my trip to Burkina faso has been the Kassena architecture at the ghanean border. It has a unique feel and is absolutely wonderful. This is an inside view of the royal concession of Tiébélé. More than 400 members of the royal family live there. Those houses are made of banco, a mixture of mud, cow dung and water.
Another POV as a workshop... I had my doubts as to which one to post, vertical or horizontal.. your opinion is welcome! |

Very interesting constructions. I liked most the vertical picture as we can se the construction with its hood made of plants and we see more of this dramatic sky.
Thanks for sharing.
From Brazil,
Rico.

Bonsoir Eric,
Avec cette belle photo et la note intéressante tu atteins un des objectifs de TE montrer, partager et faire découvrir ce qui existe dans ce monde et que nous ne connaissons pas
Merci
Marc
Hi Eric,
there are many examples of traditional clay architecture around the world, but the patterns of this one are extraordinary. A proof of human creativity, you don´t need much to play with it.
Well seen, excellent proportions and perspective
cheers Christian

I'd love to see this place. As for the photos, I think I find the vertical one better - it seems to me to have a stronger and more complete composition.
