Photographer’s Note
Choa people who are arab speaking nomads who periodically enter the Cameroon territory with their animals during the dry season so they can survive. Women form these tribes seem to have extremely beautiful traditional red dresses and to wear a profusion of earrings, collars, etc…
Here, the shot was taken at Maga along the lake banks few kilometers from the Chad border, Extreme-North of Maroua when sailing up to a spot where one can observe hippopotamus. I love the smile of these elegant women.

belle scène de vie quotidienne.
Je trouve que les personages "ressortent" trop sur le fond,ils auraient été comme l'âne aurait été suffisant,ceci dit ce n'est que mon humble avis.

nice friendly shot from far away;-) je me suis posé la question du cadrage mais finalement j'aime bien l'idée de voir qu'elles vont à la rivière avec ce bout d'eau et cette pirogue au premier plan...
Je pars au Burkina faso dans 3 semaines pour marcher dans le pays gurunsi à la frontière du ghana. tu connais?
