This is a great portrait, and it's held up remarkably well given its age. To be honest, though, the text at the bottom is very distracting and really detracts from the shot.

Joli portrait en n&b, les imperfections sont certainement dues à la scannerisation de la diapo qui a environ 33 ans (mon dieu j'étais pas né !), mais cela ne retire rien au charme de la photo, bien au contraire...
Par contre l'adresse internet aurait pu être plus discrete ou placée dans la note ...

oui, c'est une belle image qu'il faut proteger, et la digitalization vient a point dans ce domaine. C'est vraiment dommage que vous ne nous donnez pas de notes avec vos photos.
D'accord avec hugoleff, le lien internet casse un peu notre plaisir (mais on ira voir, c'est promis)

this is a good portrait, but try out some PP to get rid of noise. this pic has good light, a sideface profile and excellent depiction of ethnic dress and jewellery. the B&W looks nice here.

the text below was pretty unnecessary, and you seem to be putting it in all of your pics. i suggest you better drop it next time.
(i) If you really want to advertize this web-site put it in the note, and a link to it.
(ii) If you believe putting it would end pic piracy, you are very very wrong, since so many techniques are there nowadays.
Hope you do it better next time.

I've recently got a sister-in-law from Cameroon and I became curious of the country she was born... So I looked for pictures on TE but there is very little photography from this land, a pity really!

This one is very beautiful. I like the tight horizontal framing and the soft contrasted B&W.

I don't know if you precisely wanted the grainy effect on purpose, but I've tryed to clean up the image + a slight filtering through NeatImage - I would like you to "Allow Workshop" in your profile so that I can send it to you...
