"Africa minha, Africa nossa,
céu ja clareá, consciencia ja desanuviá
ja tchiga hora, pa enfrentá realidade.Um povo sofredor, ja calmá sê dor, pa'l bem vivê, na paz e no progresso.
Si nô tiver fê na nôs capacidade
Mãe Africa, ta ser feliz um dia".

English translation:
"The sky has brightened, awareness has begun to grow,
the time has come to face reality, a people that once suffered, has erased its pain,
to leave in peace and progress if we have faith in our abilities,
Mother Africa will be happy one day".

People has usually a sad image of Africa: wars, sickness, hunger... it's somehow true but it's not all...
This mornin' I calculate the 2006 results of our health service: we reduced newborn mortality in our nurseries from 37 to 7 ‰ in 3 years, 300 babies were born without AIDS (95%), 1000 persons were successfully treated for tuberculosis in 2006, we realized 350 000 primary health consultations and 8000 births. Our staff is cameroonian at 99%.... mother Africa will be happy one day!

That's a beautiful song. And a lovely photo with a great intention. Yes, too often, Africa is immediately associated with suffering and chaos. Of course, it's beautiful. Full of beauty. Not just stunning women like the one here, but all sorts of beautiful, ordinary people of every size, shape and color. And congratulations to you on being able to report such happy statistics. I love that. A great idea. The composition is interesting, with the overhanging tree. In a way it kind of unifies the disparate elements of the rock, the tree and the woman. I only wish you were a little taller, maybe, so that her face might have appeared profiled against the sand, rather than a bit lost against the trees. But the smile's there. That's what counts. She's happy. And why not? -Hugh

i colori attorno sono fantastici, pero la cosa sopra, non so, per me poteva anche mancare...non esserci...
Vedi, se ci riprovi forse...
Guarda, lei e' scura, come cioccolato
....ha una gonna bianca che la fa ancora piu color cioccolato, e la sabbia e' quasi oro, il mare e il cielo altrettanto chiari, se la mettevi in centro a questi tre soggetti chiari, l'attenzione sarebbe tutta per lei, e gli intorni uno sfondo fantastico e orientale...
Ti faccio vedere nel WS cosa volevo dire:)

Hello Alberto,
That song is so right if you read the African newspapers and not only the ones we read in Europe or the rest of the world ... Ofcourse not everything is going well in Africa, but time seems to be turning indeed.
The way she looks at the camera shows that she is happy and things are going well. Hopefully the rest follows as Africa has so much to offer.

La tua nota, la bella immagine e l'affascinante sguardo della tua modella mi fanno sorridere.
Hai proprio ragione comunque: la gente africana ha tanta voglia di vivere e di allegria.
Bella inquadratura e la canzone di due mostri sacri della musica indiana (guarda caso tra i miei preferiti).

Di questa foto mi piace tutto ... i colori, il mare, la sabbia, l'ìdea della cornice superiore fatta con l'albero, la bellisima ragazza con il vestito chiaro in risalto sul resto e ... la nota molto, molto piacevole e interessante. Sei riuscito a dare un volto di positività e voglia di vivere al continente Africa: COMPLIMENTI !!

Fantastica!! Fantastica la foto ma più ancora la nota, mi sembrano meravigliosi i risultati che ci descrivi!! A maggior ragione perchè lo staff è composto quasi totalmente da gente locale. Quindi: si può davvero ben sperare!! E questa ragazza sorridente ci dà tantissimo ottimismo in più.
Penso che tu debba esser davvero soddisfatto per il lavoro che stai facendo, e ti ringrazio perché ne informi noi di TE:

Oltre a tutto questo: mi piace più la tua foto che il WS, sia per la grana sia per il fatto del tronco in primo piano che incornicia la scena e che dà più informazioni sul luogo.

Olá Alberto,

Se não lesse a nota acho que gostaria imenso da foto na mesma, pois está linda. Linda a praia, linda a modelo e a sua pose, linda a sua compo. A forma como ela está enquadrada, com o mar e o rochedo à esquerda e o tronco e a árvore em cima está excelente.

Só é pena que a cabeça dela tenha ficado sobre o fundo escuro da árvore.

A nota também está muito bonita, inspirada e inspiradora. Ainda bem que nem todas as notícias desse continente são más. Noto com prazer a sua alegria e ânimo nas suas linhas. A foto e a canção da Cesária ilustram muito bem o resto da sua nota.

Hola Alberto,

Otra gran imagen, la pose de la mujer es perfecta y muy sugerente, los tonos de la escena son interesantes y cálidos, creo que hay una ligera descompensación en la iluminación que ha creado zonas sobreexpuestas y otras subexpuestas, se podrían arreglar en el postprocesado, de todos modos es un buen trabajo y te agradezco que lo compartas.

vedo che ti stai dando da fare in Africa, lo dicono sia i numeri che hai riportato a lato, che il soggetto delle tue foto. Ottima l'inquadratura, con la ragazza posizionata giustamente da un lato. Che fortuna 0:)che si sia girata proprio nel momento in cui la inquadravi! A me, il tronco me gusta, porchè rende la foto molto più stabile e quindi hai fatto un ottimo ancoraggio con esso.
