Photographer’s Note
Fishing scene taken at Lobe, a nice place with large waterfalls falling into the sea. To reach Lobe, you need to drive south of Kribi - the major touristic place in Cameroon for its nice beaches - for approximately half an hour.
Shrimps in this area are really famous for they are quite big and really tasty. All day long, you can see fisherman trying to catch them above the Lobe waterfalls.
Behind this calm scenery, one has to stand the damn' so called guides who will not let you walk alone the 100m between the road and that place. The only way you can have a chance to meet the real local fishermen and spend some quite moment among them is to get up really early before the "guides" come to the place they try to earn their beers...
That shot was made in the evening... I could not escape those guides...
