Took me a bit to see that it was actually on fire. I like the effect it give the background. That Minolta can sure take the heat I see. Nice composition. :)

interesting photo and great composition. I like to smell the hot wawes of the air in background, and the focus just on the teapot.
Nice lights and sharp. perhaps it should be better to frame not the teapot in the middle but a little on right. Anyway, I like it very much.

Very nice. I love the distortion the heat gives the mountains in the background. Wonderful subject. I wonder if it wouldn't have benefited from a placement in the magic thirds. I'll post a workshop if it works out.

Interesting, carefuly captured picture. Original point of view, vivid colours, well established depth of field make this image really fantastic.

the hot air effect - made by software, or you just caught in with camera? Anyway, great way of showing reality out there, shots from Chad are rare and precious, especially ones good as this one

Wonderful subject and great colors, I also like the shallow DOF. I'd have cropped a bit on the right and the bottom.

This is a fine photo that could be improved in my opinion, if you positioned yourself so the tea kettle is off center. It appears from what is present in the photo that there are fine and interesting elements on the ground. You also have the land forms in the distance. I just noted that justrob did a workshop suggesting one such composition. It is less a matter of rules of composition than in creating interest for the eye. This is rather classical with the tea kettle centered directly beneath the distant hill. Shifting the relationship between the two creates more for the eye to tease out as it enjoys the composition. The color, controlled depth of field all work very well. This is an excellent contribution to TE. And since I've not encountered your work before, I'll extend a belated welcome as well. Enjoy yourself!

Great shot, unique POV. Very good effect, maybe could have been improved slightly by putting the tea pot slightly off centre. But still an interesting shot.

BELLISSIMA INQUADRATURA.

Complimenti!

This is an interesting post full of colors and exotism (to me european). I can hear stories brought by the wind of the far desert horizon...(i feel lyrical). It is indeed a very nice scene with many details to look at. I don't really mind if the tea kettle is centered but I would have straighten the horizon, based on the position of the kettle. Indeed, the fact that the kettle isn't "straight", kind of bother my eye (geometric stuff i think). But still a great photo, which I enjoy very much!

Ciao Dario,
I like this shot a lot, I think it represents that middle-of-nowhere feeling perfectly. Rob's workshop works well too.

Ciao Dario,
bellissima immagine che chiunque ha viaggiato nel deserto ricorderà con nostalgia.
Bello l'effetto dell'aria calda che sfoca ulteriormente il paesaggio.
Buon Natale!
