Photographer’s Note
The field of Kibumba about 30 kms of the city of Goma, 350,000 people, to the side of Virunga National Park where they live Africa mountain gorilas. Hi Jose,
This is such a very sad photo, the place looks so desolate, the whole atmosphere is so gloomy, and your note says it all :( Careless logging, especially illegal ones, is really killing this planet.
Did you just scan this photo? The image quality is not the best, but I think this adds to the drama depicted here. It's a good documentary photo though.
