Photographer’s Note
Rwanda genocide
Kibumba refugee field
These days I've been thinking about the 3 last photos that I present on this subject. They are very difficult photos for its nature, but I think that my purpose makes sense. Therefore I present them finishing this chapter.
This photo from a small rise a side of the road shows the horror lived in these fields of death and desolation.
This is about daily death

First i wanted to write some about the quality of the scan...but now i´m not sure if i even want to see this picture in a better "quality"!
I think the message is transferred without any technical discussion. Even the "smiley" for the two points seems to be misplaced.
Thanks for also showing this aspect of the planet earth.

Jose...
I am torn...
It is simply impossible to leave this photo without saying something. I want you to know that I've seen your photo and that I acknowledge your endeavor at posting it.
And at the same time, it is impossible to leave words that will make any sense.
I've read about the Rwanda genocide. I remember so well the images at the television and in the newspapers. But I just don't get used to them.
I just can't imagine how it was for you and the others who tried to help to be there...
Oh gosh... I am here, in this page, and I see it. And I apologize for the meaningless of my words...
Technicality has nothing to do with these photos...

Hi Jose,
I don't quite know what to say. It is a deeply sad situation in Africa and we the lucky ones simply fail to keep that in mind while we enjoy in our own world. I went through your gallery and each and every shot is powerful and touching. You have done a great service and I salute you for that. The smiley doesn't go with your shots, but I will give that to honor your efforts.
Well done my friend.
Regards,
Shaeri
