Many times I had the impression that Céar wanted to go to the city just to get a chance to "seat a minute and wait for the taxi" taking us back to the village. Laid back style, Bocks on the table, here goes the afternoon... How I miss those moments, listening to César talking about the good old days...

Very laid back atmosphere here. Spending hot afternoon out of the African sunshine. Diffuse light works well. Harmonous colours.

Hey Vincent!
Your shot truly delivers the feeling you written in your note...the longing for other days, the hopeless stare at an undefined point in space, the seemingly depression...your shot delivered it so good, with the atmosphere of the bar, the beers on the table not able to take out the hard feelings...I feel that there is a lack of contrast here so I have managed a WS to improve this shot by a bit...

Hi Vincent. Really good shot of a very poignant moment. The diffused backlight works excellently and the sitter's pose and beer leaves us in no doubt what the atmosphere must have been like. My only suggestion for improvement would be to crop out the top of the photo to remove the bright lights. Try it with the scroll bar first but, in my opinion, it would turn a really good shot into a great one. Best wishes, Paul.
