Les couleurs de Grand- Bassam Photo

Photographer’s Note

Comme je le disais dans mon post d'hier, on trouve beaucoup de vieux murs coloniaux à Grand Bassam, certains laissés à l'abandon, d'autres retapés. J'ai photographié celui-ci alors que nous étions à la terrasse d'un café, à attendre que la pluie cesse.

(Je viens me calmer sur TE, après le quart de finale que l'équipe de France féminine de handball vient de perdre d'un but après une double prolongation... injustice...)

hi Marie,
most amazing comibation of patterns and colours, I especially like the strong diagonal of the stairs and how the golden ornaments in the lower right corner balance out the upper left corner. beautiful colourful geometric abstraction, this deserves to be printed in large format :)

Un superbe rendu au niveau des textures!!!
C'est impressionnant. Les couleurs sont surprenantes. J'aime surtout ce jaune/orange en bas à droite.
Désolée pour l'équipe de France, ce sera pour dans 4 ans ;-))

l'arbitrage était bien nul...
joliement assorties les couleurs, la fenêtre, le mur et la rampe, le doré en bas à droite vient casser un peu l'harmonie, mais agréablement ;)

Bonjour Marie,

Ta série africaine est bien différente de ce que tu nous montres d'habitude..;; Et c'est très bien comme cela. On reconnaît quand même tes couleurs hyper saturées... Cette main courante est très spéciale.... j'aime bien le béton fait au pifomètre... Cela vit!

Et tant pis pour l'équipe de hand...

Bonjour Marie,

Ces couleurs sont effectivement du plus bel effet : du bleu pour les petits garçons, du rose pour les petites filles et du jaune et de l'orange pour Marie.
Et le tout avec un superbe graphisme.

Les couleurs et les lignes sont magnifiques et le cadrage particulièrement efficace.

Une nouvelle image pleine de couleurs. Ici, le graphisme arrondi de la rembarde s'oppose au curieux motifs de couleurs jaunes. Un image qui ne manque pas détails !

I am in seventh heaven with your pics Marie. You've been busy woman.
Love this interesting and colourful composition. I am not that keen on pastel colours. However, this range of pastel ones don't see to be that pastel after your 'treatment'! Love the fact that the yellows and ochre seem to be 'out of place' in this creation. Although in the right-hand side lower corner, the yellow with a totally different pattern really 'fights' to get its own space.
A gem.

Oula, j'ai pris du retard sur ta galerie, tu postes à la vitesse de la lumière ;-)
J'ai choisi celle-ci car je trouve que cette composition est vraiment superbe. La netteté des motifs classiques de l'escalier en opposition avec les motifs tribaux du banc de bois au premier plan est vraiment bien vue et les oppositions de couleurs renforcent cette impression.
Très bien vu !

Belle palette de couleurs, avec ce cadrage la composition est très équilibré au point de vue couleurs et aussi dans les différents volumes ou formes ... on verreait bien un bambin qui t'observe en jetant un coup d'oeil à travers les barreaux de l'ecalier ...

Vraiment original ces couleurs! Ton cadrage est nickel pour mettre en valeur le graphisme de l'endroit. Je trouve que ces pièces dorées ont un côté aztèque (étrange!).
Tu as vraiment du te régaler avec ces vieux murs.
