Petit souvenir Ethiopien, ce contre jour dans un petit village proche d'Adigrat. Les pistes sont sans fin et la poussière abondante. J'ai beaucoup aimé ces contrées ou vivent difficilement des hommes fières et nobles. /jr

I like your silhouette idea, but I think for it to work the composition has to be more geomtric somehow. In my opinion with this particular composition I think it would have been better to see the faces. On the other hand this really conveys the atmosphere of a hot day and colors and sharpness are excellent.

i don't know... i don't mind not seeing the faces... what spoils it for me is the car, it's a distraction. otherwise i quite like this composition.

like it allot.
looks hot indeed, lots of stories in the pictures. I think it might have been better to move a little to the right before taking the shot, maybe that way the polls would not stick out of the people's heads.
also the goat on the left, gives a nice touch to the picture.

Well, maybe the car is a disturbance, but only a little one for me. I still like your idea to shoot against the strong light that results in only the silhouettes of the people being visible - and these silhouettes are quite well distributed across the frame. The limited color palette looks very nice on this one. Good shot, JR.

J'aime bien ta note qui parle avec beaucoup de respect pour cette population. La photo est originale avec cette contre jour. Les couleurs de l'arrière plan sont très chaudes et belles tandis que les shilouettes apportent de la vie. Bien vu!

agree with tongapup's comment. Don't like the car. Exposure is on the other hand spot on (and very difficult inthis type of picture)

Salut, mon ami. Une composition magnifique en soulignant les silhouettes face au fonds lumineux. Le contraste entre les zones en lumière et dans ombres est très beau.

Ohhh, I so want to give this a big smiley. I like the silouette idea and I like the arrangement of the people, but there's a couple little things that nag at me: the vehicle cut blocked from view (if only it were centred), and the half lit boy's face breaking the silouette. It's a fine idea, just a little short of really cool.
