I love you photos from Ethiopia, Jean. Light plays a major role in this shot, together with the color of his shirt, turban, and face. Great Dof, wonderful compo.

Lumière très dure mais très beau portrait. On se demande si c'est la mâturité qui marque ce visage si jeune. La profondeur de champ est idéale à mon avis pour ce sujet. Bravo.

I wish I could write all I want to...this is an excellant portrait...his expression, his traditional headdress and his worn out trainer, great colors, light and depth...grains are making it more real (as it is shot real)...I hope I can shoot such a beautiful portrait one day...thanks Jean Richard..

What an expression, he really looking hard on something/someone. Good tight compo, light & shade is well used here. Are those flyes near his eye?

Hi Jean, very good portrait of this young boy, you captured his expression very well. I like the light , although there will be people who say that it's too dark, I don't mind, it' s a great portrait.
