Hi Peter,
The very artistic and colourful baskets look particularly good when combined with the three person in the photo. An unusual and attractive picture!

Hello Peter,
A firework of colours and geometry with a good composition. The contrast between the coloured baskets and the more faded colours of the women adds to the attractiveness.

You captured the colors of their baskets very well. They remind me of mexican sombreros. Great sharpness and framed well.
Thanks for sharing.

Wow. Very interesting contrast between the very calm looking women and their festive baskets. The baskets don't seem to fit into the brown surroundings. Really interesting photo.

Right off to the side of the Stella fields if I am correct. I believe I recognize the little girl yet a bit older now - I will have to go check my pics. Great shot. You have the love these colors and designs, and coming upon them in Axum makes them even more spectacular. Makes me wanna go buy a few more ...although I don't think I would be as happy to use them for injera ...or underlay as we fondly called it after the mat you use under carpets ...actually, the basket would probably taste better.
Ok, well, great shot. Not the sharpest or most contrasty but a great "daily life" shot from Axum.
