Photographer’s Note
I dont know what the title means, but its a song from Mali I like a lot.
This is during market day in Dimeka when a lot of Hamar or Karo tribal people come to town , dressed in their leather outfits and bone jewellery, and they dont wear it for tourists. However, you dont need to look like this, even if you are part of the tribe, as this boy, adopting more modern look, and still very stylish. He was very laid back, nice, smiling all the time, and definitely not typical tourists hustler, although he speaks reasonable English. So I recommend him for a local guide in Dimeka if you ever get there.

Very well done.
I like this unusual composition and the colors.
You demonstrated that not always it is necessary to follow the rules.
Bravo

Salut Swiatek,
Superbe demi portrait ;-)!
J’adore cette couleur et cette texture sur le mur.
Très belle lumière sur le visage, j’aime ton cadrage !
C’est très osé, mais ça marche !
Amicalement

I don't know if it's the original framing, but if it is, then you are very, very good.
I love and the thumbnail and the image. All those colors, green red and yellow. This is fantastic..
really , even the small red in her braids.
GREAT shot

nice. as usual, great colours, original framing.
i really recommend you read "The Lepers of Moyo" by Paul Theroux, it's about when he went to Africa to avoid getting drafted in the Vietnam war and ended up working at a leper colony. It's unbelievably good, some of his best writing for sure. It's in his book "My Other Life."

J'aime beaucoup ce genre de composition "à l'envers", c'est-à-dire qui laisse plus de place à l'atmosphère ou à ce qui crée l'effet (ici la texture du mur et la couleur en général) qu'au sujet. Félicitations!

Swiatek:
Thank you for stopping by Venezuela. Your composition was very eye catching. The combination of colours are great. I would work it a little in PS to cut the face right from the middle and add a further visual impact on your subject.
I can tell the light is coming from the right of the subjec, left of the photographer, thus making a shadow upon your subjects face. This could be prevented with a fill in flash that the D70 has, or by using PS dodge tool. If you like I would love to show you how to attain this and contribute to your skills with a little bit of knowledge.
Keep the great work
