Photographer’s Note
Ethiopia is where coffee was first discovered. The story tells of a goat herder who noticed his goats getting pretty lively after chewing on a certain red berry. One of the joys of any visit to this country is indeed the coffee and here i visited one of the most famous coffee shops in ethiopia, Tamoca, situated in the Piazza area of the capitol. Shown is all the essentials of a good cup of joe.

Hi,
the image has already so much of caffeine in it...the old machine looks very stylish, the black liquid in a glass very tempting...i almost wished i could order a coffee there...that blurred person in the background creates a less convincing background though...
with regards to your note I was once one of those firmly convinced that coffee must origin somewhere in South America...it was so obvious for me that I wasn’t even bothered looking for the info...quite recently I was kind of nasty to my working colleagues checking their opinion on coffee origins...their hesitation free answer was - S. America;-)
cheers, arturo
