Photographer’s Note
The smoking house at the port of Bakau. The young girls smoke Bungafish here and the lighting is great for photography.

This really is a great shot beautifully lit and exposed,I love the proud look on the girls face and the way the light streams through those slats and through the smoke looks so good.

A very interesting and atmospheric image Paul - I'm not quite sure what's happening with her look - guess her eyes are narrowed because of the smoke - but a nice enough composition and good use of the light.
best wishes Kev
just came back and like i even more on second viewing - something really strong coming through!

Es una foto bonita, sí, pero me disgusta la expresión en los ojos de la muchacha. Apenas ha dejado de ser una niña y ya se ve obligada a trabajar en esas condiciones deplorables.
Like the photo's aesthetics, don't like so much the look in the girl's eyes. She seems to be tired of all day long smelling smoke.
I´m also confused
