Photographer’s Note

Silent sunset by the Gambia river... Lone Heron was standing in the middle of river... and fish were jumping out of the water and falling down into our boat... It was one of these African magic evenings... I miss that atmosphere and places...

Ale pieknie! Wspaniały kolor, cudownie sie odbija wszystko w tej niesamowicie gładkiej powierzchni rzeki i tylko ta czapla zaburza obraz. Wyobrażam sobie tę ciszę, mam nadzieję, ze to nie była motorówka :)). Łódka plynie spokojnie, ryby wskakują (a potem były na talerzu, czy z powrotem w rzece?)Kapitalna atmosfera. Szkoda że ptaszysko nie stanęło trochę dalej, żeby głowa lepiej odcinała się od brzegu. Ale coż zrobić.

voici une prise qui est artistique, follement artistique.
Tu as bien joué sur les reflets et sur les teintes, tout cela rend cette scène tellement paisible, comme l'est ce héron pourtant sans doute en quête de nourriture.

Super nastrój i kolory. Kompozycja także właściwa. Jeden ptak, a jakie robi wrażenie, może właśnie dlatego, że jest samotny.

I find the warm soft tone of the color and the wet sand reflection of light to be superb in this capture of the evening mood. The single cluster of cloud really plays a role here to add a feature to the sky.

Horizon thin line is a good break of the sky and land. To cap this all, you have framed a heron to make it superb as a focal point.

Great work.

Interesting tones you got here!!
Fish jumping in your boat. Jezus must have been here the time The Book is talking about his magic with respect to bread and fish ;-).
In that sense, it is surely a paradise landscape here and it would not surprise me if people would start believing in miracles in these surroundings!

Piekne ! Ociera sie co prawda o regiony zwane "Zachodami Slonca" ale miejsce i klimat usyskany poprzez te samotna niesamowita poze ptaka pozwala momentalnie zapomniec o banalnosci zlotego Sloneczka.

Co bym zrobil ? A poczyscil smieci w wodzie - to jedyna moja uwaga.
I tak mi sie bardzo podoba.

Hi Andrzej, Brilliant warm feel to this picture with these soft brown tones, a lovely minimal look with the little grouping of cloud & the reflections they offer, as for the silhouette of the heron, well just brilliant, kind regards Wilson.
