Photographer’s Note
A boy is making gari, a local grain-based food.
Not sure how to make the photo more sharp, as not only was dirt blowing around but also the grain. Everything was dusty and dirty. If anyone has tips on how to shoot better under these conditions, please let me know. I've seen some lovely sand dune shots on TE and I am amazed at the clarity.

Hi Adrienne, nice composition with the hands coming in from the top of the frame. Good POV too. Just let down a little by the lack of sharpness. Regards, Roberto

Ciao Adrienne
I like this picture ofa working hands. A good composition to show everyday life and work.
I am not able to suggest how to shot in such bad conditions. I think that digitals cameras allow us to capture many shots when a subject is so hard: I'd try also using flash, or with a low number of ISO, or closing the len. At home I chose the better in my computer and I mange it as I can.
I tried to make a WS.
You could post a bigger file, it is only 168.
Ciao!!

maybe you will need a very slow speed (a tripod, will be added advantage) and a very small aperture , provided the hands dont move much, and you will get a better depth-of-field (sharpness).
