Photographer’s Note
...Walking along the white sand beach in Kokrobite with the breeze at my back, I spied the sky blue bar stand of the Hot Tilapia. Behind the counter, George's compact frame dipped to the rhythm of a Steel Pulse tune playing on the boom box behind him. The palm trees seemed to take cue with a slow, synchronistic sway that became almost hypnotic with the reggae beats. He eagerly greeted me with a pat on the shoulder and Ghanaian handshake: a locking of hands followed by a swift and simultaneous snap of the index finger and thumb. News of the waves followed. General Marcus, given his distinguished title by the community for his service in the Ghanaian military, sat on his usual perch across the bar. Though usually soft-spoken and reserved, his bright, toothy smile could eclipse the sun. He lifted himself from the stump of a palm tree and paced in the direction of the Atlantic's lapping waters. Steel Pulse's melodies wafted through the air...
Rejoice, rejoice! Good tidings I bring you!

Hi Brian,
A cool portrait of this friendly guy. He gives you such a warm smile that one can not help but smile when looking at your shot. Nice side lighting too, soft not creating any hard shadows so we can see his features clearly.
Regards
Wanda
