Photographer’s Note
Here is one of my shots from the Cape Coast Castle, former owned by the Dutch then the British. I beleive the black and white adds to the emotion and terror that this castle still holds within it's walls to this day. The harmony brought with the black and white gives a calming effect for something so vile. The framing and having old mixed with new in the backgrounds adds to the past versus present notion.
