Elephants Sunset Photo

Photographer’s Note

Another day over for this big family. I was always amazed by the solidarity and mutual protection between elephants. While on safari, you can see on daily basis how protective the elephants can be, especially toward the young ones. I witness the male elephant charging the group of lions in order to get the baby to the water point and allow him to drink... Very brave fellas! Was nice to have them during the sunset.

Beautiful capture of the sunrays and colours. You've got the exposure just right with the silhouetted elephants which look amazing.

Hi Irina,

Though quite soft on the silouettes, still a wonderful image! Ohw, I have worked in Africa for years but never had time to go to Kenya or Tanzania for such beautiful images!

Beautiful sunset photo with the silhouettes of the elephants. The light and colors are excellent and a very good compo.
I would love to see something like this with my own eyes, something to never forget I think.
