What will the future be for the children of Kenyans? Will there be peace and prosperity? Hope all the trouble in Kenya will be resolved soon for the kids’ sake.
Passing through a school in Central Kenya, I have the opportunity to talk to the teachers there and photographed some of the children.

Cropped
Turned into grayscale
10% yellow and red tone applied
Slightly contrast and sharpen

Hi Way!
A good title for this wonderful portrait, and a good question, hearing the news about increasing costs for food. The loosers will be Africa`s population again and again and again........
I like his innocent epression and the fine details at his face.

Hello Way,
A very nice portrait and a beautiful post processing for this image. The look of this boy fixing the lens can mean a lot, and your title seems to be very near to the question he can ask...
Very touching image with a lot of feeling in it, congratulations for this great image.
Have a nice day.
Best regards, Christian

A very nice portrait -those big round eyes stand out and that always is the key. The sepia helps give it a timeless feel.
Cheers,

Dave

Hello Way,
very nice B/W portrait of this child, with this expressional force in his glance!!I like and the other child that look in an other direction.I think that they search for their future, looking at different directions.Excellent the light and the sharpness as the clarity too.Well done.

Regards,Danos

Hi Way.
This protrait is perfect, the colour sepia is great, the composition with this child in front and the other child at the back in profile and blurred. What a beautiful look, what a deep eyes, what a interrogation mark in his face.I like your note, ank I think the childs mustn't pay for our mistakes and ambitions.A good thoughtful shot Way,thanks for sharing.
Best regards,
Sonsoles.

hello way

an engaging, technically impeccable portrait that makes us stop and wonder... compositionally, i like how the kid in the background stresses the uncertainty of the situation with his sideway gaze. meanwhile your subject pierces us with his eyes questioning his future, our future with the whole world reflected in his direct gaze... fantastic! the PP work seems very appropriate here. well done, way!

with kind regards
kristaps

hello Way
great portrait of a lovely Kenian kid!Really nice and well done!Look at this regard, how can the humans destroy this? And,how can the humans loose their innocence when they become themselves adult? So many questions!
Regards.
Pascale

This is a wonderful portrait of the young boy. I like the way he looks at you and how you captured the light in his eyes; we could almost drown in those eyes. He is very smart in his school uniform. Good conversion and added toning. Well done
Kath
