lake nakuru...kenya...the greatest collection of flamingoes and pelicans i have seen...lake manyara in tanzania is similar but here the numbers are so large the eye cant take in them and assess the wonder of nature and the scope of their colonies.
i used the digital zoom here which was usesless and no tripod...i took this minutes before a torrential downpour so had to 'shift' quickly to get back off the beach and back to the jeep...but i find it interesting |

Hi Geof,
I know this amazing place. The image is very blurred, since you didn't have a tripo, but the composition is very nice. I can imagine the noise...Thanks for sharing,
Regards,
Ricardo
Hi Geof
A pity that the qual;ity is so poor in this one. Something went wrong during the process of putting it on TE I guess.
greetings Albrecht
hello Geof, nicely composed image. The quality through the digital zoom is indeed poor, but we all live and learn. actually the noise and poor image quality make for a rather oldfasioned look...like a old newspaper color photo. cheers arnoud
