dawns and sunsets are funny..they involve the sun..yet the sun is the wrong exposure for the rest of the shot...i had to pull this one around a bit...but tried to retain the naturalness
dawns are against you because the sun seems to rise so quickly and there are no atmospherics to give an afterglow..the colour shifts are towards the ultra violet as well..
its a great time dawn in the bush...you hear the sounds of life and the crisp cold air excites you as you sip an early strong coffee and huddle in your fleece..

Hi Geof, amazing sunset view. the strong contrast on the trees have a wonderful effect. excellent colours in the sky, good focus and composition.

Hello Geof, nice shot. I liek the crop you have done here. It's nicely presented and a very pleasing view, well done.

I like how you cropped the image so that the sun is shifted to the right of the image instead of being centred as is so common with these photos. I also like how horizon disappears in the left part of the photo in the deep purple tones.

Hello Geof you have captured a great fire rising from the sun. The detailed silhouettes of the trees are interesting too.
