[Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe
We stayed at Fisherman's Camp on the south shore of Lake Naivasha, and I got up early one morning to take pictures in the soft light. (See this photo for another scene.) The bird just settling in, behind the red boat and to the left, is a great blue heron.

hi Dan,
the colour of the boat is what fascinates me in this photo, the warm morning light works perfectly to emphasise this accent in the otherwise pastel-coloured scene. the layers of hills disappearing in the distant mist add a nice sense of depth, and create a very relaxing and calm mood. very nice work, I like it a lot.

with best regards,
Kristine

Perfect lighting!! I like how the sunlight is hitting the boat. Very nice colors and great detail. A very pretty scene!! TFS

The red boat is very eye-catching, especially with its clear reflection. It must have been good to see all the birds although they are inevitably small in the frame. The early morning light is illuminating the scene well. I might just have framed the image more to the left so the boat is closer to the right edge. If that wasn't possible maybe zooming in more would have worked. Now after the event a crop with some from the top and/or bottom to retain the proportions might work. Just my taste of course.

HI Daniel - Heres a simple but peaceful photo - the sunlight is really nice. I like your framing of the standout red boat, as well.
Cheers,
Dave

Hi Dan,
Lovely tranquil scene of this old red boat reflecting in the calm river waters. Nice slopping lines to the disntat hills makes for a lovely image.
Regards, Tom
