Photographer’s Note

Sometimes, you can have special moment as this one with Sidi, the camels guy, who was playing flute on a top of a stones in the Maghidet's tassili.

Un des moments surprenant et memorable de notre trek dans le Tassili de Maghidet. Sidi, notre chamelier, nous a offert un petit concert de flute improvisé sur le haut de son rocher.

Hi Yves. Must have been a little surreal to be serenaded in the desert. Excellent photo, well composed and nice handling of light. Thanks for sharing.

this must've been a magic moment, I can only imagine how the clear sound of the flute floated over the desert sand.
simple composition, but for me it works, especially because of the scale, the person seems so small and tiny compared to the vast desert. fascinating shot, I like it.

This is indeed a special moment! Belive me, when I saw the thumbnail I first thought you would have asked the guy to pose for you, because it's a bit strange to see a person serenading in the desert. I wonder how he got up there! A lovely picture where you've shown the surroundings as well

Yves, very interesting composition, like the opening from "Fiddler on the Roof" but different of course. As always your work has an open and remote feeling, freedom I think. Great work.
