Photographer’s Note
There is a small rova (palace) on a hill near Antananarivo, perhaps one of the twelve famous hills that the Merina king Andriampoimerina unified in the 18th century. There is not much left of the palace itself but from the top of the hill the view is very beautiful, specially in this season when the rice is tender and green.
Anyway, amongst the remains of the site there are many tombs, some old like these ones - overlooking city and rice paddy.

Bonjour Mathieu
Un délicieux premier pour accompagner cette composition déjà avec le contraste donné par ce ciel.
Bonne journée

Hallo Mathieu!
What an impressive view and it is even amplified by this interesting foreground. It also produces a wonderful depth into the scenerry. I also like the strong contrast between the a bit threatening sky and the sunlit city down in the valley. A great picture!
Greetings from autumnal grey and humid Germany!

Hello Mathieu,
A very good perspective, overlooking the city from this hill with its gravestones and the vegetation. The sunny areas get very warm colours under the dark sky.
Regards,
Gert
