Photographer's Note
Three guys hanging outside a "hole-in-the-wall" supermarket who probably have noodle soup available too. The handpainted advertising is interesting in this scene. Building your own house is a major expence for most people worldwide. Let's say your house is finished but lack painting. No problem, just call a company that are willing to pay for the paint as long as they can paint their products on the walls on the house. I'm not quite sure if I would like to have Coca Cola or Toyota advertising on my house but in some places in Madagascar it was quite cool. Very colorful and handpainted in most cases. (More examples in the workshop)

Art-work or daily life, Boa, you managed a nice combination of the two themes.
Fine taken moment with those guys at the kiosk-window, as they seem to find some shelter under the shadows.
Good evening,

Hi Boa
It's relatively bright and lovely shade with eye-piercing colours as the advert attracts viewer's eye from what looks like a somewhat popular eating spot. It's effective bold arty stuff painted on the wall vigourising the place and uplifting this shot tenfold.
A cute snap depicting the essence of local life with the guys - and bare feet, an example of how urban environment can exist on several levels. Thanks to your keen observation, of an excellent street vibe and thks to your beautiful extra images I greatly enjoyed.
Congrats

Hej Boa,

Hello Boa,
However, a very remarkable way to get your house painted. It can be the solution for people with financial difficulties.
I guess this makes the towns and villages much more colourful.
Pretty and colourful daily life-shot from a rather unknown country.
Best regards, Paul

Hello, Boa!
This is an interesting daily life capture, with the colorful wall making the image very attractive, and the light was difficult, with strong shadows, but you've managed it very well! Very nice composition! Excellent job!

Ho Boa
Madagascar! Isn't this one of the poorest countries in the world? I think it is right? and its often on the list of countries NOT to visit by tourists.
and yes, the shadow and lighting is a bit of a problem here, but not major - we can still make everything out quite easily.
interesting cultural info about the paint and advertising.
I wonder how the life conditions are for these guys. We don't see many shots from this country...hope to see more.
awesome TE post. cheers

Hello Boa,
This kind of colorful advertising seems to be very popular in Africa. I like how you handled the stark contrast between the light and shadows. There are interesting details in this simple, street scene. One man has no shoes, and the one sitting on the right has a very suspicious look on his face. I hope he didn't mind having his photo taken. :-)

Belle scène de vie, trois portraits aux expressions différentes, très cool, les décorations du mur de la restauration rapide haute en couleurs, bel effet ombre et de lumière
Belle soirée
