Dans la campagne malgache, on trouve encore ces villages aux maisons imposantes et en apparence confortables. Pourtant, comme partout l'exode rural désertifie ces lieux.
Impression de ville fantome.

In the Malagasy countryside, one still finds these villages with imposing and seemingly comfortable houses.
However, like everywhere the rural migration désert these places.

the houses look very authentic, but what really makes this shot for me is the combination with the sky. one could not wish for better background for these reddish fasades and roof-tops. a fine capture!

very nice perspective of the old houses. They look in a bad shape but somehow I like to see the textures of the bricks and columns. Superb lighting and definition. Great one!

Salut Bertrand,

Red tones of terracotta and its contrast with white is one of my favorites every time. Same styled houses are creates good perspective and depth on same line while their amazing textures and old facades increasing moody ambiance of your scene. Laying visitors and fantastic sky are excellent additions. Congratulations.

Hello Bertrand,

Une image assez étrange qui laisse une drôle d'impression. Entre tristesse et abandon. Il est étrange de constater que malgré cela, les couleurs de ta photographie et le graphisme des façades alignées permettent de mettre un peu de gaieté. On y voit même quelqu'un entrain de se reposer à l'ombre.

Une belle vue sur ce village. Cela m'étonne que c'est une ville fantome. Les maisons me paraissent aussi encore confortable (selon les standards du pays) mais je suppose que ce sont des raisons économiques qui chassent les gens vers la ville. Merci pour ce bel partage de la vie quotidienne.

J'apprécie beaucoup le rouge dominant en contraste avec le ciel magnifique. Un document intéressant sur cette architecture simple et efficace. Dommage que tout ça soit à l'abandon. Un bon et intéressant travail.

An impressive view, shrouded in brilliant lighting and colors. The combination white clouds/blue skies/tobacco and beige facades is absolutely marvelous, one of the best I've seen for a long time. It looks like a ghost town, but I see some people are making use of the old houses. The sky is fantastic and provides a startling contrast to the rest of the scene.

Une trés belle lumiére qui filtre ce gros nuages blanc et illumine la couleurs ocre de ces bâtiments abandonné, sauf peut être la premiére maison!!

Ambiance étrange avec ces maisons énormes et complètement désertées. Quelles couleurs éclatantes entre les ocres soutenus de la terre et des maisons et le bleu profond du ciel.
Belle composition avec ces diagonales appuyées.

Avant de lire ta note, il me semblait bien que ces maisons étaient désertées! dommage, mais surement pas de travail dans les alentours ! Le ciel chargé ajoute du caractère à l'image!

Une image qui fait une grande impression. Je reconnaît ce type de maison, que je trouve très sympa, et les couleurs sont excellent...mais après ça je remarque qu'il n'y a pas de gens et je lis la note. Excellent post!

Seeing your pictures from Madagascar I get more and more eager to go there myself, although I know it won't be easy and comfortable. It seems like a country with a very special character. This view is not pretty, but it's ineresting and attractive in a peculiar way. Superb POV, colours and sharpness.

Je reviens via TE à mes années d'agronome passées à Madagascar, tandis que le sang coule là bas et que j'y ai laissé tant d'amis et ramené tant d'images!
