This group of young madagascarian I photographed while I was for two weeks in a village called Isandrakely to build a school together with madagascarians!!! There are two storys to put to this pic!
Before we went to the island, everybody told us that they believe that if you take them in picture you catch their soul! So in the beginning when we were there we were quite unsure if we can take pictures! But as soon as they saw the camera they stand together and asked for a picture! So don't believe everything what people tells you!!!

The second story belongs theirs bellies! Because there exists a story that the children get a big bellie if he was illegitimate, so often they don't go to the doctor or not before it becomes cronically! But if you would go in time, you could take three pills and everything is passed over!
