Photographer’s Note
One of my first contact with the people living in the Maritanian village was this girl who came to sell us some traditionnal low quality jewellery. She was curious about the guitar I had brought so I gave it to her so she could try to play herself. She seemed to enjoy it but she kept an eye outside, probably to check on her family and see if they were ok with that.
Or something else?

Hello Sebastien,
Excellent result is here with her looks and splendid lights on her face which I like a lot; At least her looks and sticks on mouth. Excellent works, congratulations.

Your picture is very interesting but I would place the girl on the left of the frame giving plenty of space in front of her face. Nice colours and quite good DOF.

Bonjor Sabastien,
This is a beautiful portrait of the young woman. The contrast of light and dark, the subdued colors and the sharpness are first rate. There is one other principle you might want to experiment with. Crop the photo sho that her right eye (seen on the left in the picture) is right on the centerline of the frame. It was discovered in 1998 that in most great portraits (La Giaconda, all the portraits by Rembrandt), the centerline passes through one eye (never the nose). I wrote about this in my book, 'Math and the Mona Lisa,' which has not been printed 12 times in two years, and translated to eleven languages. Warm regards from Virginia, USA

Nice lighting and bokeh to go along with an interesting composition. Maybe a slight step to the right would have been a good thing composition wise, but you may have that shot as well.
Great Job.

Excellent portrait. Colors are superb. Composition is good and her expression clearly indicate that her attention is somwhere outside the frame.
Nice work
