wow this is very interesting. I have never seen something like this before. Truly amazing formations of rock but mainly the colors is what really makes me wonder about the forces of nature that gave the rock this color. Beautiful place and excellent picture. Cheers Achim :-)

A nice geological phenomenon well rendered with good colors and texturesand a fine POV.. i maybe would have cropped or avoided the sky in the frame as it is quite white...

Fantastic shot! Beautiful scene with perfect colors.
Very rare view of such a hill. I am wonderfing why there is no tree or grasses on the red hill!

Hello Achim,
A fascinating and surreal landscape. The undulations, which you have captured very well, certainly make for lots of interest. The composition could be improved imo by cropping the top and just leaving a thin line of vegetation and allowing us to concentrate on the main subject.

this mixture of colors and different tones is spectacular and very beautiful. The photo has a great impact at sight and very good definition that allows us to appreciate with detail the textures of the elements.

Amazing colurs shot and unusual shot. nice perspective and compo. But i think that the expossure isn't good. You can to apply more sharp.

Interesting landscape, this red surface seems to be glowing ! Considering the dull weather it's good that you reduced the sky to the absolute minimum. I like the forest too, to confirm this is not a shot from Mars ;-)

Uhau, what an impressive surreal ground, Achim! Your composition has a great visual impact from these unusual colors. May be I would even consider to cut the sky to result on a more minimalist image. The green forest makes a good contrast as a complementar color. I remember to see this kind of colors in Kenya and it's amazing. Thanks for sharing this landscape.

Achim, bist Du Dir sicher hier lediglich 7 Farben zu haben? Die Schattierungen machen es fast unmoeglich auf eine uebersichtliche Anzahl zu kommen ... vielleicht 7.000? Eine tief beeindruckende Landschaft mit dieser roten Erde im Vordergrund kontrastierend mit dem gruenen Dschungel im Hintergrund. Leider scheint das Wetter hier nicht so richtig mitgespielt zu haben.
