The 3rd pictures of my "Morocco series"

...all the pictures of this series are "snap-photos"
because I had always my daughter with me (6 months old at time of this photo) and so I did not have much time for to take photos...
...only reporter instinct... :o))

ho aperto la foto erché catturata dall'anteprima e poi ho scoperto che era tua!
Veramente bella: colori belli e constrastanti col bianco candido dell'uniforme. COmposizione forte e intensa!

A really good composition well cropped. I like specaially the orange colours from the wall in contrast to the mans white uniform.

think the bk here have a good impact and would be interesting,too an angle to see more from the left of the wall..i smile now,you know why?is always more simple to give advices ..:)your reporter instinct is good!

I like this portrait of the guard(?), well framed with half of the frame showing the wall and the strong line of his banner(?) well dividing the frame.

Bel ritratto Fabio, con uno sfondo colorato e che fa molto ...Marocco!
buona qualità e una buffa espressione sulla faccia del tipo.

e complimenti per la piccola di 6 mesi!
mi ricordavo che eravate in attesa. la mia, di piccola ha fatto 2 mesi ieri.
la belva invece ne ha quasi 4...di anni!!!

Not easy to compose the perfect picture with a wriggling baby in arms. Your instinct to compose the sentry off-centre as a good one. I just wish he was looking in the other direction, into the frame. I bet he was looking into the frame just before little Sofia knocked your arm. ;D I like the fact you left room to see all the holes in the wall. (Spy holes?)

Hello Fabio -

I do like the image, it has a lot of possibilities but something you were not able to work on. With that in mind my only comment would be for the sentry to be looking into the image or at the camera rather than out of the scene. Well done!

Nice catch, even with so little time you stil got a good portrait . The contrast of his with clothes with the adobe walls on th background attracts the eye. Your litle girl is alrady a globetrotter!

Belle photo de ce garde de toute beauté, son habit ressort bien.
De plus j' admire les gens comme vous, nous sommes si près dans les points et vous me donné des points vous même, cela est mon cas aussi, pas de calcul, juste les photos que l' on aime ou pas.
Cela fait du bien de remarquer cela.
Jolies couleurs et bonne netteté, la couleur du mur fait bien ressortire le blanc du costume.

L'atteggiamento del personaggio è molto dinamico.

Ciao Fabio, i love your note and yes sometimes things (especially babies) do make life of a photographer more difficult ;)
To shoot well we need time, lot of time, patience, abnegation, a lot of thing that can't be achieved when traveling with somebody or a family. So you did very well and i love the proximity of this serie, talking about "snap photos" i know a lot of photographer who'll be happy to shoot that kind of snaps !
Excellent, i love the white framing which reinforce the picture and fits the white of his clothes.

The framing is fine with the stern face of the guard looking out of the frame. The contrast with the BG mud structure also stands out. A fine portrait from Morocco!

Si vede che ti piacciono, come soggetti, le persone nel loro contesto. C'e' sempre, nelle tue foto, una attenzione particolare alla composizione.
Come in questo caso, in cui lo sfondo e' sia una fortezza, che anche un colore da far risaltare il soggetto.
Un'ottima immagine.
