Photographer’s Note
This was taken one morning in an alley in the metal working area of the Marrakech souk. I loved all the sparks and how the light falls through the smokey haze.
It would have been better if the kid in the front was looking at the camera, but sadly two tourists appeared behind me as I was taking the shot, which attracted his attention.

You've captured a very authentic maroquii atmosfere, hard work, bad condition and children to demostrate how the life could be hard outside.
Well done,

Hi Benjamin
I love it!! A real working picture, you really caught the mood here, the low light, smoke and sparks in the air and all the tools and materials spread out all over the picture.
Great

An exceptional shot I would say...great composition with the three people intent in their daily activities, the plays of light give the image a dreamy but also an intense mood, the colours are a bit subdued yet present, many details, very sharp, I love the expressions on the faces, there is a kind of intimistic atmosphere. Well done, my compliments!

Très beau ! Je pense que je vois exactement où tu te trouvais dans la médina, j'étais là il y a un an, mes photos n'ont pas donné grand chose... Belle lumière et super ambiance !

Hi Benjamin.
I was watching the pictures of Morocco, and this one seems to me one of the best shots published,I think it should have much more comments. The composition seems to me very good,it really caught me,perhaps a little more contrast go well, don't you try?But it's great,so great...
Best regards,
Sonsoles.

Great sharpness given you hand held at 1/30 (you did hand hold didn't you?)
Great placement of your subjects and the square format works well too.
