Photographer’s Note
In front of this man was a snake charmer / story teller entertaining a circle of people in Djemaa el Fna square at Marrakech. He was on the opposite side of the circle from me.
It took a bit of PP to recover this from the grainy of negative - hopefully it doesn't show (too much)

Interesting portrait - the man is nicely framed centrally, and that headpiece is nice and big which gives a sense of culture. He's looking a bit downcast perhaps... not so happy on this day perhaps!

hello Steve,
you have lots of interseting pictures but for now this has caught my attention most. It's because of the way you have filled the frame with this excellent portrait. The large hood catches the light and I like all the sharp detail of the textures of his clothes.I like the earthy colours too and the man's concentration. What small amount of frame is not filled byyour subject there is good bokeh. Surprising that you have not received more recognition for this one.
