A lovely lighting and emphasis on the angles of the terrain. Great balance, the sepia tones are well used here.

What a beautiful scale of colours, almost a grey scale but in colour.
The composition is perfect, playing with the diagonals, with the mountains silhouettes (from right to left) and with the colours, from the top up left white corner to the bottom right black corner.
Great landscape view, good shot, TFS.
Best regards Ken.

Hi Ken
Superb aerial perspective, with diminishing tones in the ranges from back to front. I like the partially silhouetted diagonal in the foreground. Good work!

OMG, thank God I decided to look up what's in your gallery after reading your critique left with bboss.
The composition is superb (can't think of any better for this type of shot) and the tones and layers are superbly rendered.
Also, the balance and brightnes are phenomenal!
Many thanks for this one, Ken and congratulations!!!

Wow ! Very beautiful gradients and shapes !
I really like the fact that we are still able to see the houses coming out from it.
Very well done !

Wow, great one. The thumbnail immediately invited me to click on this pic. Wonderful, V-shaped mountains. The light is great, and difference in shades is awsume.
The row of trees leading downwards makes the final finish.
cheers, Sarah

Hi Ken,
I have just browsed through all your albums after I discovered that you had listed me as a 'favourite' (my first one!) and find we have a lot in common in what we try to shoot. But I have never successfully been able to shoot a great picture like this one. I think I have over-exposed when trying similar scenes. I probably would have tried to expose to retain some detail of the village in the bottom left hand portion of the picture, but then that would have washed out the great effect that you have achieved here of the stepped tones of the mountain range on the right. This is a shot I can definitely learn from. Thanks for sharing it.
Cheers . . . David
PS: I think your Morocco album is your best one :)

The repetition of hills is amazing as the color graduates as it goes farther over the horizon, the atmosphere here is really great and the fog stimulates that a lot, excellent shot! i'm enjoying your galleries.

Hi Ken
Not only it is beautiful, but it is made well - I like very much this succession of hills and the trees which are outlined on a beautiful diagonal - very beautiful photo which I discover-

Hello Ken,
A spectacular shot from your slide collection! The "V" made by the steep hills is unusual in that the slopes are so well defined, and the degradation of the light with distance is specially dramatic. I am not familiar with Elitechrome film, but it is impressive as is the scan.
Warm regards,
Bulent
