We were on our way from Marrakech to Essaouira, when we came upon this man, walking through the desert. I was amazed by the lonely atmosphere, even more as there was bad weather starting and it kept adding to it.
I took the photo out of the driving Grand Taxi, so this is why the foreground is a bit blurred. In fact, I think it's a wonder the photo got half-way sharp.
I took many pictures while driving by, drive-by-shootings if you want so ;-)
I was thinking about maybe doing a little exposition with only drive-by-shots, calling it "Maroc en passant", but I think I first will try, what people here on TE think of it. |

Nice shot. I think that the drive by shot is a good idea, it gives a good sense of "movement" to the photo, contrasting with the standing land and sky.
Congratulations.
Could be an interesting concept Bertolt. I myself will be traveling on this road very soon (well in April) I am very excited, hope you have a good adventure.
PS I notice there is a bit of a spot in the upper left corner of the photo. I had a fuji 4800 finepix and it did exactly the same thing and the problem only kept getting worse as the camera got older. I wonder if this a fault with the finepix lens. I also wonder if anyone else is experiencing this?
