Another detail. If you look more close you can see the ring in the middle finger, thats the reason of the Title. Feel free to do your crittcs.
Thanks |

An interesting knocker. The door looks kind of luminous and plastic, almost unexpected.
You have an endless collection of these doorknobs, Elias! You must be really crazy about them. This is another very interesting one with funny details. I like it very much, although the focus should be at foreground instead of the right background. Just a detail, but a bit more upwards would be a perfect composition. Good shot overall.
Saludos,
Ricardo

Amigo Elias,me desculpa não saber castelhano.
Gostei imenso das tuas fotos acerca de batedores das portas, que rica coleção.Por cá nas casas mais antigas também se usa.Infelizmente nos edificios modernos foram substituídos pelas campainhas ( rinngs).
Um abraço
These are known as 'Fatima's hands' - fatima being the daughter of the prophet Mahomet. They are supposed to bring good luck to the house and are quite common on the south of Portugal, among other remains from the arab culture and architecture.
Hi dear Elias,
It's a beautiful detail, and it's true, the ring shines really !
Very elegant and charming gesture,
Good idea,

Cath.
