[Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe
This series of Imouzzer des Ida Outanane and my Morocco travelogue is almost finished.

This was shot from the village of Immouzer proper, very close to the charming Hotel des Cascades, which stands about 200 meters behind the POV. Below we can see the village of Tamarout. The dry river bed is fed by a cascade 100 meters high. The cascades only have water in less dry times, of course and is located to the left of the image. The altitude of the valley is more than 900 meters and the mountains are about 1200-1300 high.

I posted a WS shot about 100 meters behind this showing a water channel that brings water from a source on the mountain to the valley below. Several weeks after this post, I posted another photo of the place, with a close-up of the river bed near that WS. I attached to that post another WS with a view of the mountains 90 deg to the left of this image.

I won't bore you again repeating my impressions on the region. You can read them in most of my earlier posts, namely on the first one.

Hi Jose,
Another amazing view from Morocco, brilliant sharp details and a nice wide angle getting in a lot of the landscape. I like the village way down below you must have been very high up.
Regards
Wanda

Olá José, sinto-me quase a voar num parapente. A vista é suberba.
ricardo

Olá José,
very pleasant POV for the valley and the hill. The view is just loosing itself in this endless landscape. The embedded village is nice in that green around and the colours are warm and natural. I like the graphical impression of the WS.

Olá José
Interessante, faz lembrar as zonas áridas da América do Norte.

Hi Jose
Nice view from top of hill,
Looks very nice place, and colors is great
TFS/Kind regards

I loved all those views of tree-lined valleys stretching through red rock The villages mixed in the trees or just above, getting life out of the little pockets of green. You're shows how it is very well and more importantly, visually explains what it's like throughout much of Morocco.

The view here is almost as vertiginous as Ricardo's latest post. From this POV we can appreciate a lot of the terrain with the arid areas mixed with greenery. Very good sharpness and clarity with excellent DOF.

Hola Jose

well captured shot of this impressive landscape. The pov is perfect and the harsh light is well managed. Tfs this and the bonus shot!
Best wishes.

benedict
ps- my apologies, been busy lately to not able to visit your postings.

Hi Jose,

impressive - the green valley surrounded by dusty rocks. The composition is very successful, you chosed an excellent pov.

(Seems like an interesting area - I must go there one day ...)

Great POV that includes the vertiginous drop at which you were standing. It almost looks like you're in the air. The wide angle provides a wonderful overview of the whole valley, including the good off center placed mountain as a backdrop. The place seems to be well irrigated contrasting with the harsh and dry appearence of all your previous posts of the same area. A very good shot of your marroquian series.

Bonjour Jose!
Marie Louise.

Hi Jose.

very nice .. the depth and layers are wonderful .. the gradients of red and green are beautiful .. the little scattered bits of humanity in this harsh place are evocative and wonderful.

Bom trabalho.

I like the scale of this shot, Jose.
It is also a great example of people blending in with their natural surroundings.
Lovely rich colours. Well framed.

Hi Jose. This is not only one of the best photographs that you have posted for a while from a technical perspective (perfect exposure and sharpness) but very well composed too with just the right balance between the foreground and the amount of sky in frame. Excellent work. Cheers . . . David
