[Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe
One fine, early morning, after having been waken up by rain (in Sahara, out of all places...) I noticed that my camel had disappeared. His tracks lead me into the dunes and this was the sight I came upon after a few minutes of walking... The camel had taken some time off for self reflection and contemplation.

Camels are the most intelligent beings on this planet after all, just hiding it well, for we would make them work too hard on difficult mathematical problems otherwise... at least according to Terry Pratchett. (Smile)

Your thoughts and comments are highly welcome.

Thank you for your visit,
Kristaps

PS. To be viewed along with this photo of the very same camel.

being a huge Pratchett fun and having read "Pyramids" at least three times (that's the book that finaly explains everything about the camels) I can only laught looking at the photo :) beautiful sand textures, but I particularly like the footprints of the great philosopher, it nicely shows how he had to get away from all the silly humans to finaly be able to address the very issue of life, univers and everything else. great shot.
best,
K.

Hi Kristaps

Look at the and after the rain it is silky smooth. Lovely. It must have been so soft the camel sank deep into it. I would like a slightly more intense sky, it would be perfect. Lovely shot anyway.

Hi Kristaps. It definitely seems to have something on its mind. I am sure it would also appreciate your photo for its wonderful colours and composition. Nice how the tracks begin at bottom right.Well done. Regards. Klaudio.

Hi Kristaps,
A state of the art composition, the footprints and the camel orientation are part of the curve that gives its dynamism to the photo, I like it a lot !
Have a nice week end, JY

Hello Kristaps,
Very clear chrisp colors with the mountain of brown sand contrasting beautifully with the blue sky. The striking camel adds relief and definition as he does seem to be contemplating one life's non mathematical problems.
Regards, Tom
