| [Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe |
By pure chance we happened to be in Fes the day the King of Morocco circumcised his 1-year-old son. In Fes. The whole town was one big celebration. We passed - and were invited to watch - a festival of folk dancers from every part of the country dressed in traditional costumes.
As we were leaving, I spotted this group of Tuareg outside the building waiting for their turn, and stopped to take their picture. After I did so, I realized that one of the Tuareg had done the same to us. And that we had caught each other in the act.
Technical: I cropped the photo down to about half and changed the orientation to vertical. I lightened the general scene a little, sharpened it all with Noiseware, then selected for the faces and lightened them some more, as they were in shadow. |

Hi! Original scene. Nice take, very nice. Cheers!
Your pictures are all so great, I can't decide which to praise. Since I like stories about the Tuareg people I picked this one. Excellent detail, that camera.
Trekearth seems made specially for you - you have only great pictures, locations and stories.
Happy new year.
