Hello Jerzy
WOnderful combination of white blue and red; the architectural details are wonderful as well as the mood. maybe cropping a bit off the floor to give a more panoramic fell would have made it even better
Cheers
Daniel
PS do you know what happened to Maki?

Hi jerzy

This is an absolute great shot! I love the way the kids follow one another and the red unity of most of the figures included in the scene.. contrasted with the blue color on the walls. I can feel this is Morocco, only by looking at it!

Eric

Hi Jerzy

Very colorful background you have found here. Great depth created. You really have portrayed the scence of this place and captured the feel of Rabat. Well done.
Ben

Oh! I knew you had not forget. But since I am a slow one, I was patient! :) This one is a symphony in blue and red. Each note has its place and the whole produce an harmonious music. I like how everybody seems to be in the right place. And there is a timeless feel in that photo.
I am curious though, by this part of your note: "place where ancestors of pirates live..." Sorry for my complete ignorance, but what does that mean?
Thank you Jerzy! I'm happy!
Claire

wow! Superb moment, Jerzy...a brilliant study in austere combination of lines, motion and color. A true decisive moment. A favorite for me.

Ale zaszokowales mnie przejsciem z Polski powyborczej bezposrednio do Maroka !!!
Pamietam to zdjecie z WS-a, Claire prosila o wstawienie go na pierwszej stronie, tyz pamietam...
No i dobrze zrobiles, jedno z najlepszych z tego pobytu, serio.
Pyszne.
Pozdrawiam. Grazyna.

Ciekawy kolory zaułek pokazany w Twoim dobrym stylu.
Pozdrawiam.

Nice street scene captured here, Jerzy, I wonder what the kid is seeing there :) High contrasts and saturation work well.

Cheers
Alexander

Witaj Jerzy!
Dziękuję i pozdrawiam.

Hi Jerzy,

Jolie scčne de rue, beau bleu des murs, et ce rappel sur le vętement de l'enfant est bienvenu !
Marie

Very nice, J! Beyond the peeling blue walls, it's the little boys and their big brothers in and out of doorways that make this shot truly sccessful. One of your best Morrocan pics.
-F

Ah yes, the Barbary Corsairs - so this is where their descendants live.
I like how you captured this quiet scene, and it's funny how the colours complement each other - the red and blue clothing of the people fits well with the white and blue painted buildings. Strange how three of them are dressed almost the same.
The chopped-off top of the doorway bothers me a bit - shifting the framing upwards slightly would have sorted that. A minor detail.
Good work Jerzy, I like it.

Cheers,
Ben

Man, you're always in vacation. I want to go to Poland where people work between holidays. :)
Nice photo here. Those two kids exiting the frame are wonderful. Nice daily life scene.

For me make the crop of that little dark area to the left and it would be near perfect - even from the thumbnail i hoped there would be little kids running off to the right and they are perfectly placed to take the eye and interest beyond tyhe frame - in Derry, NI right now but will see you in Istanbul next week!!

Cześć Jurek!
Ale zakątek, jakis zagubiony a jednak tętni życiem... Fajny kadr, perspektywa i światełko. No i typowa kolorystyka pieknie oddana.
Pozdrawiam

Hi Jerzy,
A warm, high impact daily life shot, with the red, white and blue hues blending well. The lighting is well managed and one can imagine the thoughts of the parent looking at the two kids, thoughts that are universal....Cheers, Jerzy. I was pleased to see the Polish election results.
John

Whooooaahh!
That's my boy !
You have found the way to combine what I like best. A great background with human elements who seem to have been placed one by one with your hand. No pose here "stay here stay there" but simply natural daily life in this great place, masterfully taken with a sense of predicting situations.
See you soon Jerzy , For Claire perhaps, but for Izzet too......Izzet
By the way please send me an E Mail with more details because I have to combine my schedule accordingly

Hello Jerzy,
I love blue and I love old streets, so I just could love this one, even more when we also can have this strong characters populating the streets.
Another outstanding work from you at the Moroccan streets.
Cheers.

Witaj Jerzy.

The composition with the street, the people and these colours look great.
It's quite simple but also amazing.

Regards.

Beautiful study in blue of a place and a small moment of daily life. I am reminded of Brazil, I suppose it's the ball one of the kids is carrying and seem eager to soon play with.

I have looked into the TE Morocco galleries after looking at Bruno Barbey's images of the country on the Magnum site, and well, maybe you are familiar with his panoramic crops, so I did a WS with that idea in mind.

Hi Jerzy

This one stood out in your gallery. Wonderful blue & white colours in this superb streetscape with 3 people in red shirts adding a nice colour contrast of hot & cold colours. Tfs!

Hi Jerzy,
amicalement

Beautiful picture, with the colours, and the scene happening.
We can imaginate a story from this picture.
Well done !
