Hi Brendan, this image is "almost" a superb wonder, 3 things bother me and it's a pity because the compo is excellent and the light/colors combination is superb... Your subject is also a good one, the tilt makes it as well... The plam trees are a great green addition to the shot...

The glitches for me are that post, the fence and the vignetting... I always wondered why they install horrible light posts in very charming locations, of course it's a photographer's concern...

Brendan,
love the slight tilt & unison of the mosque, palm trees
and the lamp post. The composition is superb as is the
light itself, but not only the image's lacking in contrast,
but you killed it (the contrast) futhermore
by applying a wee too heavy vignetting.

Awesome shot! Very nicely constructed with the Katoubia, the palmtrees and this lady. Only criticism I'd have is the vigneting. It's a bit overkilled and I don't really see the point here. I know that it's kind of a trademark for you, but here it doesn't make it for me.

Bonjour Brendan,
je pense que ta photo mériterait un petit traitement pour lui donner un peu de lumière, il y a des zones sombres tout autour de ta photo, je vois à l'instant qu'il y a un WS de fait, c'est peut-être ce qui t'a été proposé. sans quoi, le tilt...pourquoi pas ? ça change de la traditionnelle photo.
pour ton info, à moins qu'en anglais on puisse dire Katoubia, à ma connaissance, le nom de cette mosquée est KOUTOUBIA -
